Call the Police!
Often at community meetings I encourage the community to phone the police whenever they see suspicious activity. On December 18, 2016 at 5:23 p.m., someone called in a suspicious vehicle at Broadway and Jones. There was a Toyota parked illegally. Officers Kenneth Anderson and Francesca Murphy responded. When the officers arrived, there was a male lying down in the back seat. The officers ran a record check which revealed the person had an arrest warrant for possession of narcotics paraphernalia from Alameda County. This incident is an example of why it is important to report activity and become involved. It makes our neighborhoods and community safer. Read Central 122216.
