When I arrived at Central Station, there was only one officer assigned to Fisherman’s Wharf. This was Officer John Van Koll. Since then, I added three additional officers for the wharf who work from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thanks to the Mayor’s Office and the Board of Supervisors, the Department has been hiring officers.
