The Design, Zoning and Land Use (DZLU) Committee monitors and helps shape development projects and land use policies to the benefit of Russian Hill and the City. DZLU makes recommendations to RHN’s Board on these issues. We encourage the preservation of Russian Hill’s significant historic buildings. We examine the effects of the planning and building codes on our neighborhood. We engage with our elected officials, commissions and staff, as well as with other neighborhood organizations, to advocate for exemplary projects and policies.
