On a sunny and clear evening on June 5th, RHN’s annual meeting took place at the beautiful Norwegian Seaman’s Church, offering breathtaking views of Francisco Park, the northern waterfront, and the Golden Gate Bridge. The event was filled with lively conversations as members reunited with old friends, made new connections, and enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and beverages.
The evening commenced with a warm welcome from Pastor Jon Olav, who provided a brief history of the Norwegian Seamen’s Church worldwide. The Business Meeting followed, featuring presentations on Neighborhood Watch and Safety. Our new, updated logo was unveiled, and a summary of RHN’s achievements over the past year was presented.
Members also voted to approve the new slate of Officers and Directors for 2024-2025. In a heartfelt moment, we recognized the exceptional contributions of Jennifer Balenbin, Barbara Bella, and Susan Gage. Their selfless dedication and hard work have truly made a difference in our community. We extend a warm thank you to all members for their unwavering support and efforts to enhance our neighborhood.
We invite everyone to consider the exciting opportunity of joining one of our committees or taking on a leadership role on the RHN Board. It’s not just a chance to meet your neighbors, but also a rewarding way to make a positive impact on our community. For more information, please email president@rhnsf.org.
We look forward to seeing you at our Annual Picnic, December Holiday Party, and monthly events!
