Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Happy New Year from all of us at RHN! Thank you for all of your support of Russian Hill Neighbors.
2015 promises to be a very active year for RHN, as many important neighborhood and city-wide issues will continue to develop. In particular, we remain vigilant in the development of the Polk St Improvement Project and the Central Subway’s possible extension to Fisherman Wharf. We will also continue with our monthly Street Sweep program, support of our neighborhood parks and trees, and various fundraisers and social events.
We have received many membership renewals from you over the past several months – THANK YOU very much for your continued support and participation. If you have not yet returned your membership forms or renewed online, please make sure to do so! We can’t accomplish our goals without your wonderful support.
I have a bit of news to share – this will be my last letter as President of RHN, as I’ve recently moved outside of the RHN borders. I will continue to live in the city and be a regular member of RHN, but can no longer serve as the group’s President. Our terrific current Vice President, Erica Kwiatkowski, will be taking over as President and leading RHN in our mission to improve the quality of life in our amazing neighborhood. Welcome Erica and Congrats on your new Presidency!! I’d like to say a big thank you to all of you that have helped support me during my time as President of RHN – it has been an absolute pleasure getting to know and working alongside you all.
Lastly, we are looking for some more help to fill vacant Secretary, Membership and Vice President positions on our Board. Please reach out to us if you are interested in getting more involved!
All the best,
Dan Holligan
