19 Polk Muni Changes

SFMTA Muni staff will be going door to door on Polk Street starting at the end of this week to share some information on bus stop changes we’re proposing to occur in conjunction with the Polk Street Streetscape project.  We presented these proposals at the last Polk Street Streetscape public meeting but want to get some more feedback from the community on them.  We’re proposing on moving from a 1-2 block stop spacing to a 2-3 block stop spacing and moving some stops from before the intersection to after the intersection.  We’re proposing this to improve the safe interaction between buses, bicycles, pedestrians, and other vehicles.  19 Polk Muni Proposed Change FLYER.
